Cancellation policy
Effective July 22, 2026. Applies to all bookings made on or after this date. For stays booked earlier, we honor this policy wherever it treats you better than your lease.
Before your move-in day
- 30 or more days before check-in: a full refund is issued, less a $200 administrative fee. On bookings reserved with the $200 room hold fee, the hold fee is applied as this administrative fee.
- 14 to 29 days before check-in: the security deposit is retained as the cancellation fee, or remains payable if not yet paid. Any first month already paid is refunded in full.
- Less than 14 days before check-in: the security deposit and the first month are both retained, or remain payable if not yet paid.
- On no-deposit stays, a cancellation fee equal to the standard security deposit for the room applies and is invoiced.
After you move in
- Within your first 2 days after check-in: if it is not the right fit, you may end your stay immediately. The first month is retained; your security deposit is refunded per the standard return below. Nothing further is owed.
- After that, ending your stay early takes 30 days written notice, given in your portal. You owe your monthly fee through your last day (30 days from notice, or your scheduled end date if that comes first), and a $250 early-termination fee is deducted from the security deposit. The balance of the deposit follows the standard return below. On no-deposit stays the $250 fee is invoiced.
- Departure without notice does not shorten what is owed: the monthly fee accrues through 30 days from the date we learn of the departure, and the $250 early-termination fee applies.
- Notice given inside your final 30 days cuts nothing short: you pay through your scheduled end date as normal and this counts as completing your stay.
- Every stay is billed a minimum of one full month.
- On completion of your stay, the security deposit is refunded within 21 days of checkout, less documented damage beyond normal wear and any outstanding balance on the stay.
How to cancel or give notice
Cancellations happen in your resident portal. Sign in at myroom.joinaccelr8.com (just your email, no password) and press Need to cancel or end your stay? You will see exactly what comes back or stays owed before you confirm anything. Notice counts from the day you confirm in the portal. Days are counted as calendar days in Pacific Time, from the day you confirm to your check-in date; the check-in day itself does not count. Example: for an August 31 check-in, August 1 is 30 days before.
- Booking through this site includes agreeing to this policy at checkout.
- Approved refunds return to the original payment method within 5 to 10 business days.
- If this policy and your lease say different things about cancellations, early move-outs, notice, or deposit returns, this policy controls for bookings that agreed to it at checkout. For everyone else we honor it wherever it treats you better.
